Day 2(feb9) -Sunday morning we will have boat trip on lake chamo Boat trip on Lake Chamo and view some of the largest crocodiles in the world sunning on the banks of the lake .it called crocodile market .hippos are also takes place. and beautiful aquatic birds including the lovely Kingfisher , Fish Eagle and pelican after noon we will drive to konso we will see the konso tribes they known for their terracing system house building style the unique landscape konso the most wonder new work landscape .overnight camp at king house.

Day3(feb10)-Monday – drive to Turmi – we will visit the color full hammer tribe which known for their body painting with red clay and butter ,their decorated traditional leather clothes , scarring of their bodies, their hair style. Overnight camp at hammer village.

Day 4(feb11)- Monday-Morning sight seen the turmi market we can see tribes and their colorful clothes on this market after noon drive to jinka overnight at rocky camp site.

Day5(feb12)-Tuesday -Morning Drive to Mursi The Mursi live between their dry season range in the Mursi Hills, and their wet season range on the Tama Plains, north of Mago Park in the Omo River region of South-Western Ethiopia. They care for livestock and plant some crops. They have a war-like reputation given their strong desire to control as much grazing land as they can for their livestock overnight rocky camp site

‘Local for Local’ is an initiative launched by an Ethiopia tour operator named Balehageru Tours and Travels Ethiopia. The initiative is aimed at boosting the country’s domestic tourism. As a starter, the company organized a trip to Debrezeit town last weekend. The event brought together tourism stakeholders and people drawn from different parts of the society. General Manager, Ethiopia tour operator, Ato Teshome Ayele stresses that Ethiopians should enjoy and take pride in their tourism assets.  The ‘Local for Local’ initiative encourages Ethiopians to commit themselves to the novel undertaking of discovering the country’s attractions through small savings.  Though Ethiopia is endowed with diverse tourism assets, the country’s domestic tourism is still at its infancy. Addis Ababa, April 10 (WIC) – A “Business to Business Meeting” designed at bolstering Ethiopian Tourism Market in the US and engage American Tour Operators with their Ethiopian counter-parts was held at the premises of the Ethiopian Embassy in Washington D.C on Tuesday, a press release obtained from the Embassy stated.

The event is seen as an ideal venue for creating the necessary enabling conducive environment for networking of enterprises deployed in the hospitality industries of the two countries, according to the press release.

Addis Ababa, April 10 (WIC) – A “Business to Business Meeting” designed at bolstering Ethiopian Tourism Market in the US and engage American Tour Operators with their Ethiopian counter
Tadelech Dalecho, Ethiopian State Minister of Culture and Tourism, who was on hand to declare this auspicious event opened, stated in her speech that Ethiopia is endowed with diverse tourist attractions and great varieties of land, climate, people, cultures and languages.

“It is an ancient nation with great diversity filled with rich historical, cultural, and archaeological attractions, as well as numerous areas rich in wildlife”, she underscored.

The State Minister said on the occasion that Ethiopia is the cradle of humanity where pre-historic tools dated as far back as six million years ago were unearthed with Lucy (who is locally known as “Dinknesh”), as the most remarkable of the numerous discoveries.

Tadelech related that the 3.2 million years old skeleton of a female hominid i.e. Lucy that made its maiden sojourn to the US as the first “oldest visitor” to America has connected the American people with their human ancient ancestors.

The State Minister also referred that the country has the innate drive to entice visitors with opportunities for tourism and put the feature of religion ranking Ethiopia as the pioneer venue of the great ancient faiths. Read more
